In Friday's league match, the visiting Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks basketball team scored a good 71-59 triumph over the Lincoln Northeast Rockets.

In their next game, the Silver Hawks face the Columbus Discoverers (Columbus, NE) in a A District TBD match, on Saturday, February 4. Lincoln Southwest will attempt to move on its 10-7 season record. The Discoverers go into the test with a 5-12 record after their 56-48 league loss to Grand Island (Grand Island, NE).
