February 3, 2023: Watson, LA 70706 The Live Oak Eagles basketball team (Watson, LA), was overwhelmed 73-19 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Walker Wildcats (Walker, LA)
The Wildcats now possess a 22-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Amant for a 5A District 5 battle on Tuesday, February 7. Walker will confront a Gators team coming off a 62-54 league win over Dutchtown (Geismar, LA). The Gators record now stands at 15-9.
The Eagles (7-14) will now prepare for their battle against East Ascension (Gonzales, LA). The Spartans come into the 5A District 5 battle with a 12-11 record. In their last battle, East Ascension trounced Denham Springs (Denham Springs, LA), 60-51, in a league battle.
