Illinois High School Basketball - Providence-St. Mel succumbs to Marmion
February 3, 2023: Aurora, IL 60502 The Marmion Cadets topped the visiting Providence-St. Mel Knights basketball team by a final score of 58-41 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Cadets face the Glenbard South Raiders (Glen Ellyn, IL) in a non-league game, on Saturday, February 4. Marmion will attempt to move on its 16-9 season record. The Raiders enter the game with a 14-10 record after their 56-47 league win over Glenbard East (Lombard, IL).
With the defeat, Providence-St. Mel moves to 3-19 on the year. The Knights travel to Christ the King (Chicago, IL) to face the Gladiators in a non-league game on Saturday, February 4. The Gladiators enter the game with a record of 19-7. Christ the King won 75-42 in their recent league game against Walther Christian Academy (Melrose Park, IL)
