Illinois High School Basketball - Loyola Academy fells Marmion
December 2, 2022: Aurora, IL 60502 Loyola Academy Ramblers (Wilmette, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Marmion Cadets (Aurora, IL), 43-28 in a league bout.
With the win, Loyola Academy upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Ramblers host Von Steuben (Chicago, IL) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Von Steuben lost 47-46 in their recent non-league game against Schurz (Chicago, IL)
With the defeat, Marmion moves to 4-2 on the year. The Cadets travel to Fenwick (Oak Park, IL) to face the Friars in a Chicago Catholic - White game on Tuesday, December 6. The Friars enter the game with a record of 4-3. Fenwick won 64-60 in their recent non-league game against Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL)
