January 6, 2023: Wilmette, IL 60091 The Loyola Academy Ramblers (Wilmette, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Leo Lions (Chicago, IL), 44-27 in Friday's league test.
The Ramblers (13-5) will now prepare for their test against Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL). The Huskies go into the non-league test with a 7-7 record. In their last test, Oak Park-River Forest notched a victory over Proviso West (Hillside, IL), 78-49, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they host St. Francis de Sales for a Chicago Catholic - White test on Tuesday, January 10. Leo will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 65-59 non-league loss to Bishop McNamara (Kankakee, IL). The Pioneers record now stands at 5-12.
