February 3, 2023: Keizer, OR 97303 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the McNary Celtics (Keizer, OR) and the visiting South Salem Saxons (Salem, OR), saw McNary's basketball squad overcome South Salem by a tally of 72-57.
With the victory, McNary improves its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Celtics travel to West Salem (Salem, OR) to play the Titans in a 6A Central Valley challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 12-8. West Salem won 68-60 in their recent league challenge against Sprague (Salem, OR)
Next up, the Saxons play the North Salem Vikings (Salem, OR) in a 6A Central Valley challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. South Salem will attempt to improve on its 5-14 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 8-11 record after their 64-50 league loss to McNary (Keizer, OR).
