Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mohawk Area fells Riverside
February 3, 2023: Ellwood City, PA 16117 Mohawk Area Warriors (Bessemer, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Riverside Panthers (Ellwood City, PA), 69-57 in a league bout.
With the win, Mohawk Area upgrades its record to 17-1 on the season. The Warriors travel to Neshannock (New Castle, PA) to clash with the Lancers in a WPIAL 3A 1 bout on Friday, February 10. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 13-5.
Next up, the Panthers clash with the Freedom Area Bulldogs (Freedom, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 1 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Riverside will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 1-17 record after their 65-29 league loss to Beaver Falls (Beaver Falls, PA).
