Wisconsin High School Basketball - Platteville tops River Valley
February 3, 2023: Platteville, WI 53818 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Platteville Hillmen (Platteville, WI) and the visiting River Valley Blackhawks (Spring Green, WI), saw Platteville's basketball squad knock off River Valley by a count of 68-51.
With the victory, Platteville upgrades its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Hillmen host Cuba City (Cuba City, WI) to play the Cubans in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 6. The Cubans come into the challenge with a record of 13-4. Cuba City won 67-40 in their recent league challenge against Iowa-Grant (Livingston, WI)
Next up, the Blackhawks play the Reedsburg Beavers (Reedsburg, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. River Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-16 season record. The Beavers come into the challenge with a 4-15 record after their 76-55 league loss to Oregon (Oregon, WI).
