February 3, 2023: Raton, NM 87740 The Raton Tigers basketball team (Raton, NM), was overwhelmed 87-40 in Friday's league battle with the visiting St. Michael's Horsemen (Santa Fe, NM)
The Horsemen now possess a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Santa Fe Prep for a 3A District 2 battle on Tuesday, February 7. St. Michael's will confront a Blue Griffins team coming off a 69-67 league loss to Robertson (Las Vegas, NM). The Blue Griffins record now stands at 9-9.
The Tigers (6-15) will now prepare for their battle against West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM). The Dons come into the 3A District 2 battle with a 11-11 record. In their last battle, West Las Vegas was overwhelmed by Santa Fe Indian (Santa Fe, NM), 55-53, in a league battle.
