Texas High School Basketball - Bishop trounces Alice
February 3, 2023: Alice, TX 78332 The Bishop Badgers (Bishop, TX) basketball crushed the host Alice Coyotes (Alice, TX), 51-25 in Friday's league test.
The Badgers (29-4) will now prepare for their test against Tuloso-Midway (Corpus Christi, TX). The Warriors/Cherokees go into the 4A Region IV District 31 test with a 10-11 record. In their last test, Tuloso-Midway walloped King (Kingsville, TX), 52-42, in a league test.
The Coyotes now own a 4-18 record. They play next when they travel to Robstown for a 4A Region IV District 31 test on Tuesday, February 7. Alice will encounter a Cottonpickers squad coming off a 35-21 league win over Harmony School of Excellence (Laredo, TX). The Cottonpickers record now stands at 5-18.
