South Carolina High School Basketball - Southside overwhelms Belton-Honea Path
February 3, 2023: Greenville, SC 29605 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Southside Tigers (Greenville, SC) and the visiting Belton-Honea Path Bears (Honea Path, SC), saw Southside's basketball squad wallop Belton-Honea Path by a count of 81-24.
With the victory, Southside upgrades its record to 22-3 on the campaign. The Tigers host Fountain Inn (Fountain Inn, SC) to play the Fury in a AAA Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Fury come into the challenge with a record of 14-11. Fountain Inn won 63-38 in their recent league challenge against Palmetto (Williamston, SC)
Next up, the Bears play the Wren Hurricanes (Piedmont, SC) in a AAA Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Belton-Honea Path will attempt to upgrade on its 3-17 season record. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a 21-4 record after their 54-24 league win over Powdersville (Greenville, SC).
