February 3, 2023: Livonia, MI 48150 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Franklin Patriots (Livonia, MI) and the host Churchill Chargers (Livonia, MI), saw Franklin's basketball squad overcome Churchill by a tally of 37-24.
With the victory, Franklin improves its record to 4-10 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Wayne Memorial (Wayne, MI) to play the Zebras in a Kensington Lakes - East challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Zebras come into the challenge with a record of 12-5. Wayne Memorial lost 56-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Glen Lake (Maple City, MI)
Next up, the Chargers play the Glenn Rockets (Westland, MI) in a Kensington Lakes - East challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Churchill will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 0-12 record after their 67-6 league loss to Wayne Memorial (Wayne, MI).
