The Cromwell Panthers basketball team scored 62 points and held the host North Branford Thunderbirds to 46 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley Regional for a Shoreline contest on Tuesday, February 7. Cromwell will battle a Warriors team coming off a 44-39 league loss to East Hampton (East Hampton, CT). The Warriors record now stands at 14-3.

The Thunderbirds (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Haddam-Killingworth (Higganum, CT). The Cougars enter the Shoreline contest with a 9-7 record. In their last contest, Haddam-Killingworth ran past Morgan (Clinton, CT), 49-39, in a league contest.
