The Dripping Springs Tigers basketball team scored 39 points and held the host Del Valle Cardinals to 33 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 12-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Travis for a 6A Region IV District 26 contest on Saturday, February 4. Dripping Springs will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 52-28 league loss to Austin (Austin, TX). The Cavaliers record now stands at 23-9.

The Cardinals (5-25) will now prepare for their contest against Anderson (Austin, TX). The Trojans enter the 6A Region IV District 26 contest with a 5-23 record. In their last contest, Anderson was nudged by Lake Travis (Austin, TX), 68-18, in a league contest.
