The East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Lincolnton Wolves (Lincolnton, NC), 65-15 in Friday's league test.

The Cavaliers (19-1) will now prepare for their test against West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Rebels go into the 2A Conference 45 test with a 13-8 record. In their last test, West Lincoln walloped West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC), 55-41, in a league test.

The Wolves now own a 5-15 record. They play next when they host Maiden for a 2A Conference 45 test on Tuesday, February 7. Lincolnton will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 55-28 league win over Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 10-12.
