The Indian Springs Thunderbirds (Indian Springs, NV) basketball knocked off the visiting Sandy Valley Sidewinders (Sandy Valley, NV), 38-30 in Friday's league test.

The Thunderbirds (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Beaver Dam (Littlefield, AZ). The Diamondback go into the 1A Southern test with a 3-7 record. In their last test, Beaver Dam notched a victory over Mountain View Christian (Las Vegas, NV), 43-19, in a league test.

The Sidewinders now own a 7-4 record. They play next when they host Adelson for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 7. Sandy Valley will encounter a squad coming off a 54-13 league loss to GV Christian (Henderson, NV). The record now stands at 2-6.
