Iowa High School Basketball - New Mexico School for the Deaf edged by Iowa School for the Deaf
February 3, 2023: Council Bluffs, IA 51503 The New Mexico School for the Deaf Roadrunners basketball team (Santa Fe, NM), was nudged 27-26 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Iowa School for the Deaf Bobcats (Council Bluffs, IA)
The Bobcats now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kansas School for the Deaf for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 4. Iowa School for the Deaf will battle a Jackrabbits team coming off a 56-13 non-league win over Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf (Faribault, MN). The Jackrabbits record now stands at 11-1.
The Roadrunners (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Wisconsin School for the Deaf (Delavan, WI). The Firebirds enter the non-league contest with a 2-11 record. In their last contest, Wisconsin School for the Deaf nudged Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf (Faribault, MN), 24-22, in a non-league contest.
