South Carolina High School Basketball - Laurens overwhelmed by Wade Hampton
February 3, 2023: Laurens, SC 29360 The Wade Hampton Generals basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the host Laurens Raiders to 41 in the Generals league victory on Friday.
The Generals now sport a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverside for a AAAA Region 2 contest on Tuesday, February 7. Wade Hampton will battle a Warriors team coming off a 68-53 non-league win over Travelers Rest (Travelers Rest, SC). The Warriors record now stands at 18-5.
The Raiders (2-17) will now prepare for their contest against Eastside (Taylors, SC). The Eagles come into the AAAA Region 2 contest with a 11-7 record.
