Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Logan County Cougars (Russellville, KY) and the visiting Todd County Central Rebels (Elkton, KY), saw Logan County's basketball squad hold off Todd County Central by a tally of 44-43.

With the victory, Logan County improves its record to 9-8 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Butler County (Morgantown, KY) to confront the Bears in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 6. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 15-6.

Next up, the Rebels confront the Russellville Panthers (Russellville, KY) in a District 13 challenge, on Monday, February 6. Todd County Central will attempt to improve on its 11-11 season record.
