Georgia High School Basketball - Woodland overwhelms Mt. Zion
February 3, 2023: Jonesboro, GA 30236 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Woodland Wolfpack (Stockbridge, GA) and the host Mt. Zion Bulldogs (Jonesboro, GA), saw Woodland's basketball squad wallop Mt. Zion by a tally of 80-4.
With the victory, Woodland improves its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Wolfpack travel to McDonough (McDonough, GA) to confront the Warhawks in a AAAA Region 5 challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Warhawks come into the challenge with a record of 3-19. McDonough lost 81-25 in their recent league challenge against Luella (Luella, GA)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the McDonough Warhawks (McDonough, GA) in a AAAA Region 5 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Mt. Zion will attempt to improve on its 0-22 season record. The Warhawks come into the challenge with a 3-20 record after their 70-30 league loss to Woodland (Stockbridge, GA).
