The Southeast Halifax Trojans basketball team (Halifax, NC), was overwhelmed 68-30 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Northampton County Jaguars (Gaston, NC)

The Jaguars now possess a 15-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Edgecombe for a 1A Conference 9 battle on Tuesday, February 7. Northampton County will battle a Warriors team coming off a 59-52 league loss to Northwest Halifax (Littleton, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 8-12.

The Trojans (12-6) will now prepare for their battle against Wilson Prep (Wilson, NC). The Tigers come into the 1A Conference 9 battle with a 2-13 record.
