Maryland High School Basketball - Wicomico overwhelms Pocomoke
February 3, 2023: Pocomoke, MD 21851 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Wicomico Indians (Salisbury, MD) and the host Pocomoke Warriors (Pocomoke, MD), saw Wicomico's basketball squad wallop Pocomoke by a tally of 62-36.
With the victory, Wicomico improves its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Indians host Parkside (Salisbury, MD) to confront the Rams in a Bayside - South challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 15-1. Parkside won 66-38 in their recent league challenge against Snow Hill (Snow Hill, MD)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Mardela Warriors (Mardela Springs, MD) in a Bayside - South challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Pocomoke will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record.
