The Sachse Mustangs basketball team (Sachse, TX), was nudged 41-38 in Friday's league battle with the host Wylie Pirates (Wylie, TX)

The Pirates now possess a 24-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Naaman Forest for a 6A Region II District 9 battle on Saturday, February 4. Wylie will confront a Rangers team coming off a 46-18 league win over North Garland (Garland, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 5-19.

The Mustangs (23-9) will now prepare for their battle against North Garland (Garland, TX). The Raiders come into the 6A Region II District 9 battle with a 1-23 record. In their last battle, North Garland was nudged by Wylie East (Wylie, TX), 61-6, in a league battle.
