February 3, 2023: Greensboro, NC 27410 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Page Pirates (Greensboro, NC) and the host Western Guilford Hornets (Greensboro, NC), saw Page's basketball squad hold off Western Guilford by a tally of 41-40.
With the victory, Page improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Pirates host Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC) to confront the Nighthawks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Nighthawks come into the challenge with a record of 14-1. Northern Guilford won 43-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC)
Next up, the Hornets confront the Southeast Guilford Falcons (Greensboro, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Western Guilford will attempt to improve on its 11-7 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 30-17 non-league win over Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC).
