Lincolnton Wolves (Lincolnton, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC), 48-33 in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Wolves meet the Maiden Blue Devils (Maiden, NC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 7. Lincolnton will attempt to better on its 8-9 season record. The Blue Devils enter the match with a 8-9 record after their 64-56 non-league loss to Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC).

With the defeat, East Burke moves to 4-14 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC) to meet the Rebels in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 7. The Rebels enter the match with a record of 2-17. West Lincoln lost 61-41 in their recent non-league match against West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC)
