In Friday's league match, the visiting Sierra Chieftains basketball team scored a decisive 42-16 triumph over the Yosemite Badgers.

In their next game, the Chieftains meet the Chowchilla Tribe (Chowchilla, CA) in a match, on Tuesday, February 7. Sierra will attempt to move on its 7-1 season record. The Tribe enter the match with a 11-7 record after their 56-26 league win over Minarets (O'Neals, CA).
