Montana High School Basketball - North Star overwhelms Big Sandy
February 3, 2024: Big Sandy, MT 59520 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the North Star Knights (Rudyard, MT) and the host Big Sandy Pioneers (Big Sandy, MT), saw North Star's basketball squad wallop Big Sandy by a tally of 67-43.
With the victory, North Star improves its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Chester-Joplin-Inverness (Chester, MT) to confront the Hawks in a C District 9 challenge on Friday, February 9. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 15-1. Chester-Joplin-Inverness lost 83-64 in their recent non-league challenge against Box Elder (Box Elder, MT)
Next up, the Pioneers confront the Fort Benton Longhorns (Fort Benton, MT) in a challenge, on Friday, February 9. Big Sandy will attempt to improve on its 6-12 season record. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a 4-11 record after their 52-42 league loss to Turner (Turner, MT).
