The Nicholas County Bluejackets basketball team (Carlisle, KY), was overwhelmed 78-35 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Campbell County Camels (Alexandria, KY)

The Camels now possess a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Simon Kenton for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 6. Campbell County will confront a Pioneers team coming off a 58-40 league win over Grant County (Dry Ridge, KY). The Pioneers record now stands at 10-13.

The Bluejackets (11-11) will now prepare for their battle against Estill County (Irvine, KY). The Engineers come into the non-league battle with a 15-7 record. In their last battle, Estill County trounced Lee County (Beattyville, KY), 74-54, in a league battle.
