Kentucky High School Basketball - Nicholas County ripped by George Rogers Clark
December 9, 2023: Carlisle, KY 40311 The George Rogers Clark Cardinals basketball team scored 75 points and held the host Nicholas County Bluejackets to 46 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Cardinals now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harrison County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. George Rogers Clark will meet a Thorobreds team coming off a 62-52 non-league loss to Boyle County (Danville, KY). The Thorobreds record now stands at 2-3.
The Bluejackets (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Paris (Paris, KY). The Greyhounds enter the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Paris was routed by Hazard (Hazard, KY), 67-31, in a non-league contest.
