New York High School Basketball - Long Island Lutheran fells Gonzaga
February 3, 2024: Brookville, NY 11545 Long Island Lutheran Crusaders (Brookville, NY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Gonzaga Eagles (Washington, DC), 75-60 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Long Island Lutheran upgrades its record to 15-2 on the season. The Crusaders travel to IMG Academy (Bradenton, FL) to play the Ascenders in a Nike Elite Youth Scholastic bout on Friday, February 9. The Ascenders go into the bout with a record of 14-7.
Next up, the Eagles play the Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA) in a VISAA Division I bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Gonzaga will attempt to upgrade on its 20-4 season record.
