Oregon High School Basketball - Jefferson tops Santiam Christian
February 3, 2024: Jefferson, OR 97352 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Jefferson Lions (Jefferson, OR) and the visiting Santiam Christian Eagles (Corvallis, OR), saw Jefferson's basketball squad knock off Santiam Christian by a count of 71-60.
With the victory, Jefferson upgrades its record to 5-15 on the campaign. The Lions host Taft (Lincoln City, OR) to play the Tigers in a 3A PacWest challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 11-12. Taft lost 57-45 in their recent league challenge against Amity (Amity, OR)
Next up, the Eagles play the Amity Warriors (Amity, OR) in a 3A PacWest challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Santiam Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-15 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 12-10 record after their 73-22 league win over Sheridan (Sheridan, OR).
