Nebraska High School Basketball - North Bend Central holds off West Point-Beemer

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the North Bend Central Tigers (North Bend, NE) and the host West Point-Beemer Cadets (West Point, NE), saw North Bend Central's basketball squad hold off West Point-Beemer by a tally of 50-48.

With the victory, North Bend Central improves its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Arlington (Arlington, NE) to confront the Eagles in a C1 District 4 challenge on Monday, February 5. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 8-10. Arlington lost 55-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Conestoga (Murray, NE)

Next up, the Cadets confront the Madison Dragons (Madison, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. West Point-Beemer will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 56-45 non-league win over Neligh-Oakdale (Neligh, NE).
