February 3, 2024: Armour, SD 57313 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Wessington Springs Spartans (Wessington Springs, SD) and the host Tripp-Delmont/Armour Nighthawks (Armour, SD), saw Wessington Springs's basketball squad knock off Tripp-Delmont/Armour by a tally of 65-53.
With the victory, Wessington Springs improves its record to 14-1 on the campaign. The Spartans host Wolsey-Wessington (Wolsey, SD) to play the Warbirds in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Warbirds come into the challenge with a record of 13-2. Wolsey-Wessington won 74-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Sanborn Central/Woonsocket (Forestburg, SD)
Next up, the Nighthawks play the Platte/Geddes Black Panthers (Platte, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Tripp-Delmont/Armour will attempt to improve on its 10-4 season record. The Black Panthers come into the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 61-59 non-league loss to Miller (Miller, SD).
