Iowa High School Basketball - Waterloo East tops Waterloo West
February 3, 2024: Waterloo, IA 50703 Waterloo East Trojans (Waterloo, IA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Waterloo West Wahawks (Waterloo, IA), 73-59 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Waterloo East upgrades its record to 8-14 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Burlington (Burlington, IA) to play the Grayhounds in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 10. The Grayhounds come into the bout with a record of 2-13.
Next up, the Wahawks play the Western Dubuque Bobcats (Epworth, IA) in a Mississippi Valley bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Waterloo West will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Bobcats come into the bout with a 4-13 record after their 62-56 league loss to Wahlert (Dubuque, IA).
