Minico Spartans (Rupert, ID) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Shelley Russets (Shelley, ID), 48-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Minico upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Spartans travel to Wood River (Hailey, ID) to play the Wolverines in a bout on Monday, February 5. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 0-3.
