In Saturday's non-league outing, the Northwest Area Rangers (Shickshinny, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Hanover Area Hawkeyes (Hanover Township, PA), by a margin of 65-30.

The Rangers (11-7) will now prepare for their outing against Sullivan County (Laporte, PA). The Griffins go into the Mid-Penn - D4 outing with a 3-11 record. In their last outing, Sullivan County was trounced by Benton (Benton, PA), 20-16, in a league outing.
