Wisconsin High School Basketball - Brillion toppled by Freedom
February 3, 2025: Freedom, WI 54131 Freedom Irish (Freedom, WI) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Brillion Lions (Brillion, WI), 65-53 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Freedom upgrades its record to 15-1 on the year. The Irish travel to Oconto Falls (Oconto Falls, WI) to face the Panthers in a North Eastern match on Tuesday, February 4. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 10-6. Oconto Falls won 68-57 in their recent league match against Wrightstown (Wrightstown, WI)
The Lions now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chilton for a Eastern Wisconsin match on Friday, February 7. Brillion will face a Tigers squad coming off a 69-30 non-league win over St. Lawrence Seminary (Mount Calvary, WI). The Tigers record now stands at 5-11.
