Illinois High School Basketball - West Carroll can't get by Christian Life
February 3, 2025: Rockford, IL 61114 Christian Life Eagles (Rockford, IL) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting West Carroll Thunder (Savanna, IL), 45-43 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Christian Life advances its record to 13-8 on the year. The Eagles travel to South Beloit (South Beloit, IL) to encounter the Sobos in a Northeastern test on Tuesday, February 4. The Sobos come into the test with a record of 21-4. South Beloit won 65-21 in their recent non-league test against Orangeville (Orangeville, IL)
The Thunder (5-18) will now prepare for their test against River Ridge (Hanover, IL). The Wildcats come into the Northwest Upstate Illini - West test with a 10-13 record. In their last test, River Ridge held off Galena (Galena, IL), 52-47, in a league test.
