The Hernando Leopards (Brooksville, FL) basketball were winner over the host Citrus Hurricanes (Inverness, FL), 79-69 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Leopards now possess a 19-7 record. They play next when they travel to Tavares for a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 5. Hernando will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 71-51 non-league win over Crescent City (Crescent City, FL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-9.

With the loss, Citrus falls to 2-22 on the campaign.
