Iowa High School Basketball - Colo-NESCO overwhelms Colfax-Mingo
February 3, 2025: Colfax, IA 50054 The Colo-NESCO Royals basketball team scored 71 points and limited the host Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks to 38 in the Royals non-league triumph on Monday.
The Royals now have a 14-5 record. They play next when they host Baxter for a non-league game on Friday, February 7. Colo-NESCO will confront a team coming off a 73-45 league win over Collins-Maxwell (Maxwell, IA). The record now stands at 11-7.
With the loss, Colfax-Mingo falls to 2-17 on the campaign. The Tigerhawks host North Mahaska (New Sharon, IA) to confront the Warhawks in a South Iowa Cedar game on Tuesday, February 4. The Warhawks go into the game with a record of 17-3. North Mahaska won 76-62 in their recent league game against Lynnville-Sully (Sully, IA)
