California High School Basketball - Hayfork overwhelms Surprise Valley

February 3, 2025: Cedarville, CA 96104

The Hayfork Timberjacks basketball team scored 85 points and limited the host Surprise Valley Hornets to 21 in the Timberjacks league triumph on Monday.

The Timberjacks now have a 18-4 record. They play next when they host Tulelake for a Evergreen game on Wednesday, February 5. Hayfork will confront a Honkers team coming off a 101-20 league win over Dunsmuir (Dunsmuir, CA). The Honkers record now stands at 6-13.

With the loss, Surprise Valley falls to 3-14 on the year. The Hornets travel to Burney (Burney, CA) to meet the Raiders in a non-league match on Wednesday, February 5. The Raiders enter the match with a record of 6-13. Burney lost 52-33 in their recent league match against Chester (Chester, CA)
