The Wilde Lake Wildecats basketball squad (Columbia, MD), was nudged 61-56 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Marriotts Ridge (Marriottsville, MD)

With the victory, Marriotts Ridge advances its record to 11-6 on the year. The host Hammond (Columbia, MD) to meet the Golden Bears in a Howard County battle on Monday, February 10. The Golden Bears enter the battle with a record of 3-9.

The Wildecats now own a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Centennial for a Howard County battle on Wednesday, February 5. Wilde Lake will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 58-52 league loss to Mt. Hebron (Ellicott City, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 11-3.
