In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Howard Lions basketball team scored a good 73-54 triumph over the Wilde Lake Wildecats.

The Lions (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Chesapeake (Pasadena, MD). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Chesapeake was topped by Sts. Peter & Paul (Easton, MD), 61-55, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Wildecats confront the Glenelg Gladiators (Glenelg, MD) in a Howard County contest, on Friday, January 3. Wilde Lake will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record.
