In Thursday's league test, the Howard Lions (Ellicott City, MD) basketball squad defeated the visiting Oakland Mills Scorpions (Columbia, MD), by a score of 79-65.

Next, the Lions clash with the Reservoir 'Gators (Fulton, MD) in a Howard County test, on Monday, December 9. Howard will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The 'Gators come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 67-44 league loss to Centennial (Ellicott City, MD).
