In Monday's league test, the Howard Lions (Ellicott City, MD) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Reservoir 'Gators (Fulton, MD), by a score of 68-50.

Next, the Lions encounter the Atholton Raiders (Columbia, MD) in a Howard County test, on Thursday, December 12. Howard will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Raiders come into the test with a 1-1 record after their 67-64 league loss to Wilde Lake (Columbia, MD).

The 'Gators (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Oakland Mills (Columbia, MD). The Scorpions come into the Howard County test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Oakland Mills beat Chesapeake (Pasadena, MD), 57-46, in a non-league test.
