New Designs University Park Cardinals (Los Angeles, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting New Designs Watts Knights (Los Angeles, CA), 53-49 in a non-league match.

With the victory, New Designs University Park upgrades its record to 16-5 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Neuwirth Leadership Academy (Los Angeles, CA) to face the Boxers in a Metro match on Tuesday, February 4. The Boxers enter the match with a record of 0-11.
