February 3, 2025: Silver Spring, MD 20904 Springbrook Blue Devils (Silver Spring, MD) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Watkins Mill Wolverines (Gaithersburg, MD), 81-58 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Springbrook advances its record to 14-2 on the year. The Blue Devils host Paint Branch (Burtonsville, MD) to face the Panthers in a Montgomery County - East match on Tuesday, February 4. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 7-9. Paint Branch lost 72-66 in their recent non-league match against Bethesda-Chevy Chase (Bethesda, MD)
The Wolverines now own a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Poolesville for a Montgomery County - North match on Tuesday, February 4. Watkins Mill will face a Falcons squad coming off a 75-53 non-league win over Gaithersburg (Gaithersburg, MD). The Falcons record now stands at 9-8.
