Virginia High School Basketball - Annandale bested by Herndon
February 3, 2025: Annandale, VA 22003 Herndon Hornets (Herndon, VA) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Annandale Atoms (Annandale, VA), 69-52 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Herndon advances its record to 2-15 on the year. The Hornets travel to Broad Run (Ashburn, VA) to face the Spartans in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 10-4. Broad Run won 57-45 in their recent non-league match against Westfield (Chantilly, VA)
The Atoms now own a 4-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lewis for a District 3 match on Tuesday, February 4. Annandale will face a Lancers squad coming off a 55-26 league loss to Mount Vernon (Alexandria, VA). The Lancers record now stands at 5-12.
