The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Ceres Bulldogs (Ceres, CA) and the host Lathrop Spartans (Lathrop, CA), observed Ceres's basketball team knock off Lathrop by a score of 51-36.

The Bulldogs (19-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Pacheco (Los Banos, CA). The Panthers come into the Western Athletic Conference challenge with a 17-7 record. In their last challenge, Pacheco prevailed over Johansen (Modesto, CA), 61-17, in a league challenge.
