Ohio High School Basketball - Gallia Academy holds off South Point
February 3, 2025: South Point, OH 45680 The Gallia Academy Blue Devils basketball team scored 48 points and limited the host South Point Pointers to 44 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Monday.
The Blue Devils now possess a 9-11 record. They play next when they host Chillicothe for a non-league game on Thursday, February 6. Gallia Academy will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 54-16 non-league loss to Circleville (Circleville, OH). The Cavaliers record now stands at 1-19.
With the loss, South Point falls to 10-10 on the campaign. The Pointers host Rock Hill (Ironton, OH) to confront the Redmen in a Ohio Valley game on Thursday, February 6. The Redmen go into the game with a record of 6-13. Rock Hill lost 42-34 in their recent league game against Dawson-Bryant (Coal Grove, OH)
